According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there has been some belief that Punk could very well make his UFC debut at the company's big event in July. While that is a possibility, the most likely scenario will see Punk have his first fight in late 2015 instead.

While he won't be fighting for the organization for a while, Punk is already making his presence known in the UFC realm as he will host the UFC 182 weigh-ins Q&A for Fight Club members on Jan. 2 at the Marquee Ballroom at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which starts at 2 p.m. local time.

5 Best Royal Rumble Eliminations in WWE History

Punk announced at UFC 181 that he has signed a deal after negotiations with president Dana White.

Regarding Punk training for the Octagon, UFC insider "Front Row" Brian noted the following on Twitter:

Roufusport is a facility where Ben Askren also works out and he recently said that the UFC signing Punk was an "amateur move."

Punk walked out on the WWE in January after the Royal Rumble and later explained on Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast that he was upset over the way the WWE handled his head injury following the event and was still frustrated over being "creatively stifled," especially in 2011.

The "Best in the World" then dropped another bombshell by signing with UFC.

While his days in WWE are over, Punk's UFC career is just beginning.
