WWE Rumors: Heat on Brock Lesnar? Backstage Reaction to 'The Beast' Possibly Leaving the Company After WrestleMania 31 [VIDEO]

There has been a lot made about Brock Lesnar's future when his part-time contract expires once WrestleMania 31 is said and done, but there is said to be no heat on "The Beast" backstage if he chooses to leave.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, WWE officials aren't upset at Lesnar over his status being up in the air and won't be mad at the WWE World Heavyweight Champion if he decides to leave when his contract expires in late-March.

Officials do have hopes of re-negotiating a deal with Lesnar to keep him in the WWE, but it's unknown at this time if he is willing to do it as rumors have linked him to a UFC return.

Lesnar is on a part-time contract with the WWE, but is still one of the most expensive talents that the company has on-hand.

Regarding his appearances, though Lesnar was advertised locally to appear on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, the announcers didn't hype his appearance beforehand and the WWE didn't make a huge deal about him showing up to the flagship show this week.

This was done because Vince McMahon is a big fan of doing the surprise Lesnar returns as he considers "The Beast" a special attraction due to the nature of his contract.

Though he was announced locally, he was purposely not advertised to the audience because McMahon likes the reaction he gets as a surprise.

It is said that Lesnar's latest appearance will be the final un-announced one for a long time as the WWE will announce his forthcoming dates ahead of time as he builds toward WrestleMania 31.

Lesnar started building momentum when he ended The Streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX last April and the WWE used that to carry him to a WWE World Heavyweight Championship victory over John Cena in August.

Lesnar then lost to Cena at Night of Champions in September via disqualification after interference from Seth Rollins in what was his last match to date.

Following that, Lesnar missed the next three months of action and the Hell in a Cell, Survivor Series and TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs (and stairs) events before returning earlier this month.

Now, Lesnar is booked to face Cena one last time in their "Final Battle" at the Royal Rumble on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

It is expected that "The Beast" will win the match and go on to drop the title to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California.

Lesnar is booked for the RAW after WrestleMania, but his contract expires after that. He has reportedly been interested in returning to UFC as the former UFC Heavyweight Champion had to retire from the Octagon in 2011 due to a bout with diverticulitis, but is ready for a return.

Bellator MMA is also a potential suitor, which could set up a three-way bidding war between all three organizations.

While the WWE is still hopeful in its negotiations with Lesnar, the company won't be mad if he chooses to leave the company for other ventures.
