WrestleMania 31 Rumors: The Undertaker To Hall of Fame In 2015? Retirement Could Hinder Possible Bray Wyatt Match [VIDEO]

If The Undertaker opts not to compete at WrestleMania 31 in March, there are rumors that he will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, officials are thinking about using 'Taker for a Hall of Fame appearance during WrestleMania weekend if he decides he doesn't want to wrestle at the show itself.

WrestleMania 31 takes place live from Levi's Stadium in California on March 29 and the Hall of Fame ceremony occurs the night before and 'Taker could very well headline the class.

Other names that have been linked to the Class of 2015 this past year include "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Kevin Nash (likely as Diesel), Rikishi and former WWE Diva Mickie James, but it's uncertain which of these past personalities will get the nod.

It's unlikely the WWE will toss too many big names into one year, so the list will likely be trimmed down.

There have been rumors that the WWE wanted to bring The Undertaker in for a match with Bray Wyatt at the "Show of Shows," but it all depends on whether or not 'Taker wants to return for another match.

The Undertaker lost The Streak to Brock Lesnar this past April at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans and was injured during the bout. The loss and subsequent injury have led to question marks about 'Taker's in-ring future as retirement rumors have continued to surface.

The WWE has been grooming Wyatt just in case the "Deadman" opts to go toe-to-toe with the "Eater of Worlds," but they are still waiting on official word.

The Undertaker was depicted on the paint of the newest WrestleMania trucks, which led to speculation that he may in fact be ready for a match at the biggest show of 2015. The Hall of Fame rumors now explain why the WWE added 'Taker despite not being fully sure of whether he'll compete.

There were rumors that The Undertaker may finally face "The Vigilante" Sting at WrestleMania, but given the uncertainty the WWE has gone with a Sting vs. Triple H plan with hopes of having 'Taker battle Wyatt. The WWE kick-started the Sting-Triple H program at the Survivor Series last month.

While nothing is etched in stone, if The Undertaker can't compete at WrestleMania 31, he could very well get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before.
