Carolina Panthers vs. Seattle Seahawks: Michael Bennett Compares Panthers To a Good-Looking Cousin [VIDEO]

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is a good player but an even better quote.

Michael Bennett Rips Eagles QB Mark Sanchez

His team enters Saturday night's NFC divisional round playoff game heavily favored against the visiting 7-8-1 Carolina Panthers. However, the Panthers played the Seahawks tough in their lone meeting this season, a 13-9 win for Seattle. The teams' style of play are often compared to one another. They both feature powerful, bruising defenses that are complemented by young, mobile, strong-armed quarterbacks.

Bennett acknowledged the similarities between the two teams on Wednesday.

"It’s kind of weird playing them, because it’s almost like you’re looking in the mirror. It’s a team that has similar attributes all over, similar qualities," he said, via The Everett Herald. "So it’s a good game.”

Seahawks Looking For A Potential Bennett Replacement

However, Bennett didn't stop there. He got a little weirder with the metaphors.

“It’s so much alike, man. It’s like you look at a girl who looks like you, and you find out it’s your cousin, so you can’t go on a date with her even though you’d like to, because she looks like you," Bennett said.

"But then you see her friend, and her friend’s really hot, and you’re like, ‘that’s not my cousin,’ so it’s good.”

Ok then. These two kissing cousins will face-off once and for all at CenturyLink Field on Saturday night.
