As one of the first African American, unapologetically hip hop-influenced anchors in SportsCenter history, Stuart Scott broke down walls at ESPN. Now, one wall in Los Angeles will honor his legacy forever.
Longtime SportsCenter Alum Succumbs To Cancer
A California-based graffiti artist by the name of Jonas Never spray-painted a prominent homage to Scott with help from ESPN. The painted-on mural features a close-up portrait of Scott brandishing a microphone, with his signature phrase "Boo Ya!" emblazoned alongside him.
ESPN even tweeted out a photo of the graffiti on their official Twitter account:

The work was such a hit, even current SportsCenter employees like Kevin Negandhi took to social media to thank Never for his contributions.
