Keith Thurman Next Fight: 'One-Time' Finally Gets Big Name Opponent For NBC Fight Card [VIDEO]

Keith "One-Time" Thurman has been calling out anyone considered top 10 in the welterweight division for some time now, and finally will be getting his wish. According to reports Thurman has a fight lined up against Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero on NBC March 7.

This will be the first event in a series that has been started by boxing manager/adviser Al Haymon, who has a large stable of big name fighters at his disposal. The event will also feature Adrien "The Problem" Broner vs. John Molina, who fought Lucas Matthysse last year in a Fight of the Year candidate.

Thurman (24-0-0, 21 KO) was last seen on December 13 against 40-year-old Leonard Bundu in Las Vegas winning a unanimous decision that showcased his boxing skills, but earned boos from a bloodthirsty crowd.

After the fight Thurman called out Marcos "El Chino" Maidana, but later said he'd be willing to fight anyone inside the Top 10 at 147 pounds.

"We'd like Maidana. He's a power puncher, he was here tonight. He saw what I can do, I don't know if he liked it or not. I'd fight anyone in the Top 10. I'd fight Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, I'll fight the winner of Khan-Devon Alexander, that would be a terrific fight. So we have many options," Thurman said after beating Bundu.

Guerrero lost momentum following a May 2013 loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. that was followed by a lengthy contract dispute with Golden Boy Promotions. He finally returned to the ring last June and engaged in a firefight with Yoshihiro Kamegai that went the distance.
