WWE Rumors: Triple H Teases Seth Rollins Cash In At Royal Rumble, Talks Daniel Bryan and More [VIDEO]

If Seth Rollins fails to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Brock Lesnar in the Triple Threat Match at the Royal Rumble that also involves John Cena, Triple H teased that he could cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase.

5 Best WWE Championship Matches in Royal Rumble History

Triple H sat down for his weekly interview with Michael Cole and told him that he has faith Rollins will walk out of the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia with the championship on Jan. 25, but also hinted he still has the briefcase if things don't go as planned.

"I've been known for a long time as one of the smartest competitors in that ring," Triple H said. "I'll go on a limb and say Seth Rollins is right up there. He knows what he's getting into and he knows what he's doing. Those guys think they know what they're doing, he's five steps ahead and with me standing next to him and giving him a little information now and then, he might be 10 steps ahead. The Royal Rumble is gonna be very interesting because if you don't skin a cat one way, you've always got a briefcase in your hand that says you can skin him anytime you want."

Daniel Bryan Mad at Vince McMahon's 'Brass Ring' Comments?

Triple H also commented on the last events of Monday Night RAW this week that saw Rollins stand tall over Lesnar and Cena.

"[Rollins] Curb Stomped John Cena and Brock Lesnar," Triple H said. "Maybe some people are upset about that and maybe some people are saying maybe did he awaken "The Beast," but maybe "The Beast" was already [awake]. The way I recall it from standing in the ring, Brock Lesnar ran over and grabbed John Cena and German Suplexed him and then grabbed Seth Rollins and German Suplexed him. Anything that happened after that was payback in my opinion. I think what Seth Rollins did was prove he belongs in that ring. Maybe for the first time John Cena is looking at Seth Rollins differently. Maybe for the first time, Paul Heyman is looking at Seth Rollins differently."

He continued: "If Brock Lesnar has a problem with [Triple Threat Matches] than that's Brock Lesnar's problem. What you're gonna see, I think, is the dawning of the future...Seth Rollins is something different altogether, something these guys have never seen."

Lastly, "The Game" touched on the return of old nemesis Daniel Bryan on Thursday's edition of SmackDown.

"You know, Daniel Bryan has got a lot to prove to Kane because Daniel was coming off the most epic WrestleMania moment maybe in history," he said. "Proving to the world that he was supposedly this A-plus player, winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I mean you can't get any bigger than that and then he runs into Kane who puts him on the shelf for eight months and proves to the world that he was exactly what we said he was which is a B-plus player. He's gonna try to climb that mountain again and he's gonna start with Kane."
