As it turns out, once the season ends, he will be hoping to lead another project of his to the top. According to ESPN, King James and his people are working to create a new game show. SpringHill Productions, which James owns, is working with NBC to develop the new show, which does not have a title yet.

The show will be produced by Andrew Glassman, who has worked on other NBC shows such as Average Joe and Three Wishes. The payouts on the show could reportedly reach seven figures.

Although James is not involved with the day-to-day activities related to developing the show while he is in the middle of the NBA season, he has requested that the show look for its first couples that will compete in the Cleveland and Akron areas of Ohio.

"It gives people here an opportunity to live out a dream, the things they only dreamed about, and that's to make more money than they ever thought they could make in their lives," James said. "So it's a life-changing experience if they get an opportunity to be selected, and I thought starting here, with the people that I love here, means a lot to them.

"And me being a part of the game show is just all part of my team doing things that's outside the box but also that's fun for families and people that any ages can gravitate to."
