Roman Reigns Booed: 3 Possible Replacements For Rumble Winner In WrestleMania 31 Main Event [VIDEO]

Let's face it, regardless of how negatively some members of the WWE Universe react to Roman Reigns or the lack of readiness behind him, he is going to be in the main event of WrestleMania 31.

Seth Rollins Open To Facing Triple H in a Match

The 2015 Royal Rumble Match winner will stare across the ring at "The Beast" Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California no matter how much people gripe about it.

It's hard not to feel bad for Reigns, who receives boos based on the WWE once again trying to shove someone who isn't ready down the throats of its fans.

5 Possible Matches For WWE Fast Lane on Feb. 22

Reigns can very well improve and has been over with the crowd in the past, but the WWE pushing him too quickly into the biggest match of 2015 with his in-ring work and mic skills unpolished could be a huge mistake.

The WWE is desperate for its next big star and is looking to rush Reigns despite him only having one singles match on pay-per-view thus far and the WWE Universe rejecting it.

While there is no doubt that Reigns vs. Lesnar will headline the "Show of Shows," as wrestling fans it's always fun to speculate what could have been.

Sports World News will look at three potential replacements for Reigns in the main event bout:

Note: Randy Orton and John Cena seem like obvious choices as "The Viper" has the offense to match up with Lesnar and Cena wasn't pinned in the Triple Threat Match at the Royal Rumble. They are left off of this list because Orton is pretty stale at this point and Cena vs. Lesnar has been done so many times already.

3) Bray Wyatt: "The Eater of Worlds" could have a great battle with Lesnar as it could be "The Beast" against an unpredictable, psychotic character in Wyatt. There were rumors of turning Lesnar into a full babyface, and the company could have done that for his clash with Wyatt if they went that route.

Wyatt currently has nothing to do at WrestleMania since the Undertaker -- his rumored opponent -- hasn't confirmed that he is coming back yet. If Wyatt can't face 'Taker at the event, he might as well aim to take out the man who ended The Streak a year ago.

The WWE could have also turned Wyatt into a full blown face or tweener since despite him acting like a heel, the crowd is fully behind him with cell phones lighting up the arena upon his entrance and the fans singing along with him.

Wyatt looked great at the Rumble and the WWE could have used that momentum to springboard him into a contest with Lesnar at WrestleMania 31.

2) Seth Rollins: In Lesnar's absence, Rollins has propelled himself to the top of the roster as one of the best heels in the company. With Rollins putting on a show in the Triple Threat Match last week, but ultimately falling short, he's continued to cement himself as one of the best wrestlers in the WWE.

Rollins could easily come out and talk down Lesnar by saying he's the true No. 1 man in the company as he carried RAW in the absence of "The Beast."

Rollins could then announce that he's cashing in his briefcase at 'Mania against "The Beast" or the Rumble could have been booked differently with Rollins sneaking into the Rumble Match after missing out on his chance to win the gold.

Rollins and Lesnar have some good chemistry and again the WWE could turn Lesnar into a face by having him try to take out The Authority's golden boy. It would be a clash of styles and an interesting storyline, though the WWE risks ending their biggest show with a heel on top.

Still, after all the work he's put in since The Shield split, Rollins is deserving of such a spot.

1) Daniel Bryan: The obvious choice and exactly what the WWE Universe wants, but won't be getting.

The fans were livid when Bryan was eliminated 11th in the Rumble Match, coming nowhere close to winning the bout. The WWE obviously didn't learn from its mistakes of 2014 with the Batista disaster and even the beloved Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson couldn't stop the fans from rejecting Reigns.

This story basically writes itself as Bryan never lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and is coming back from an injury as the ultimate underdog.

Lesnar, meanwhile, has been booked as an unstoppable monster by taking out The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX and then dominating Cena at SummerSlam to win the title. Lesnar had another monstrous outing Sunday night at the Royal Rumble to further his scary run.

This would have set up the typical David vs. Goliath storyline with the added wrinkle that Bryan is fighting back from so much adversity with the injury, thus setting up an epic WrestleMania clash.

While this seemingly would plant the seeds for a huge payoff, the WWE's plans seem etched in stone and it's doubtful that Bryan will be thrown into the main event in an effort to save WrestleMania like he did a year ago.

The boo birds are likely to be loud and present at Levi's Stadium and the WWE Universe may be on "The Beast's" side when the night comes, but no matter what Reigns vs. Lesnar seems set in stone for WrestleMania 31.
