Tiger Woods simply is not programmed to play bad golf.
Despite his career-worst 82 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open and his fall from the top 50 in the professional men's golf rankings, one golf expert says Woods' game will return.

Golf.com found a golf teaching professional, E.A. Tischler, who believes that Woods will regain his form and become one of the world's best golfers again.
"I believe Tiger will regain his tremendous touch, especially if he is given the proper information about what worked best for him and why," said Tischler, who works at Inverness Golf Course in Toledo, Ohio. "The fact is, that program is still inside his mind, he just has to learn how to access it. Right now he is accessing programs he worked on with Sean Foley."
Golf.com queried what it labeled its "Top 100 Teachers" to ask whether they thought Woods had the "yips" -- defined as involuntary movements that force golfers to hit errand shots.
According to the query, 54 percent of the responders said they believed Woods does have the yips, which caused his 82 on Friday as he missed the cut at the Phoenix Open.
Others in the poll suggested that Woods simply lacks confidence in his rebuilt swing.
But he will finish no better than No. 53 in the next world rankings that will be released after the conclusion of this weekend's events. ESPN reported that Woods could fall farther, depending on the results of the Phoenix Open, as well as the Dubai Desert Classic, which Rory McIlroy leads.
According to ESPN, Woods' best finish in his last nine events was a tie for 25th at the WGC - Cadillac Championship last year. He has missed the cut three times, withdrew twice and came in 41st, 69th and a tie for 80th in the others.
Paul Azinger told ESPN that he doesn't believe Woods' explanation that simply is rusty from his extended layoff last season.
