Days ago Wade was fined $15K for flipping the middle finger at Charlotte Hornets fans who were reportedly verbally mocking Union.
Last Thursday Inside the NBA's Charles Barkley told fellow analyst and viewers at home that he did not think Dwyane Wade deserved to make the All Star Team for the Eastern Conference, saying: “Dwyane’s great, [he’s] a Hall of Famer, but he didn’t deserve to make the All-Star team." Smith promptly disagreed with Barkley's assessment.
Gabrielle Union Defends Her Decision To Pursue A Pre-Nup
Not one to let her hubby's game get besmirched on her watch, Union took to social media to call Chuck out for his opinion.
"Forgive Charles. .. Kenny Smith is a 2x champion & his opinion is most sound... it's like me talkin bout Meryl Streep but I ain't won nuthin," Union tweeted.
When notified about Union's response, Barkley refused to backtrack from his original comments.
“I like that lady,” Barkley said. “She’s a very nice lady and I like Dwyane, but we get paid to be honest.”
