That's a question The Miami Herald is asking, even though the power couple's marriage ceremony was nearly six months ago. According to the newspaper, Wade and Union's marriage license has yet to find its way into state records.
“We know they’re married from what they said on TV,” said Miami-Dade County marriage license manager Roberto Reboso said. “And they obtained a marriage license before the ceremony. But they still haven’t returned the license signed by the person who officiated the ceremony. So their marriage has not been recorded by the state.”
Floridians are supposed to return a signed license back to their county of residence within 10 days of getting hitched. Suffice to say Flash and the Being Mary Jane actress have gotten a little tardy on that detail.

“It happens that some people don’t send it back,” Reboso said. “But in case of legal problems, or if one of members of a couple were to die, the other would not be able to claim his or her property.”
