Phoenix Suns Rumors: Goran Dragic Not Happy At Shooting Guard, He Or Isaiah Thomas May Be Traded?

The NBA's All-Star Weekend is in the rearview mirror, and now it's time for the trade deadline to take center stage. While some major deals have already been swung this season, there are a number of names that could be on the move. One of them is Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic, an All-NBA third team selection last season.

Dragic's scoring is down four points from a season ago, and his assists have dropped from 5.9 to 4.1. He has been playing almost exclusively off the ball while Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas have handled the point guard duties, and per Arizona Republic he isn't digging that role.

Phoenix is still on the fringes of contention in the Western Conference, clinging to the No. 8 seed by a half game over the surging Oklahoma City Thunder. They have less marquee talent than Oklahoma City and the New Orleans Pelicans though, so they may consider dealing an unhappy Dragic for upgrades elsewhere and moving forward with Bledsoe and Thomas sharing the point.

The issue is that Dragic, when playing well, is a borderline elite point guard. There have also been rumors that the Suns could try to trade Thomas, who is averaging 15.2 points per game in 25.7 minutes.

One player who will not move is Bledsoe, who signed a five-year, $70 million deal this offseason. He is averaging 17.2 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists.
