According to Media Mass, Nadal and girlfriend Maria Perello were spotted recently out shopping at some jewelry stores. Specifically, the couple was looking at some pretty fancy diamond rings, leading many to speculate that an engagement is on the way.
Some people that are close to the couple are convinced that an engagement is coming sooner rather than later. "He's madly in love with her," says one source. According to others, it is also believed that the relationship is "heating up."

A separate rumor about the couple also alleges that they may be expecting a child, as Perello was recently spotted with what one source referred to as "a baby bump." The couple was out enjoying a dinner date, and she appeared to have a significant stomach bulge. Another source indicated that, at the dinner, Perello drank to a toast on two different occasions by sipping water instead of any kind of alcoholic beverage.
One of Nadal's representatives had little to say about the pregnancy rumor, telling reporters, "I do not comment on his personal life." While all anyone has to go on is circumstantial evidence, it would not be a stretch to imagine that the pregnancy and an engagement could easily be connected events.
