The WWE quickly shot down a rumor that surfaced and claimed that WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar stormed out angrily on this week's Monday Night RAW because his WrestleMania 31 opponent Roman Reigns failed a wellness test.

Various outlets sent word that "The Beast" was supposed to be used on the flagship show this week, but stormed out of the arena in Nashville in a huff.

It has yet to be divulged why Lesnar left after flying into Nashville on Monday on his private jet, but Paul Heyman and Reigns did a segment together without him.

A rumor then popped up on Reddit and claimed that Reigns failed a wellness test in violation of the company's drug policy, but the organization quickly shot down the rumor.

"That story is absolutely, 100% untrue," the WWE told Wrestlingheadlines.com in a statement.

Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble Match then was booked to defeat Daniel Bryan at Fastlane this past Sunday night in Memphis. He is now set to take on Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California.

It's still uncertain why Lesnar walked out on RAW this past week, but it was said to have something to do with the business side of things.

Lesnar has been rumored to be interested in returning to UFC, where he was the former Heavyweight Champion before retiring due to a bout with diverticulitis in 2011.

Though "The Beast" has expressed interest in returning to the Octagon, there are many sources that believe Lesnar will remain in the WWE once his contract is up in the coming months.

It could be that Lesnar and the WWE were negotiating a new deal and hit a snag, but nothing is known as of now.

Lesnar has had a dominant year in the WWE, but it is likely he will lose to Reigns at WrestleMania to help thrust him into the role of being the next big star for the WWE.
