We're now just a day away from Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano's highly touted showdown at UFC 184.
Rousey is the UFC's undefeated bantamweight champ, and fast becoming one of the biggest stars in not only the world of mixed martial arts, but American sports in general. She's appeared in Sports Illustrated's 2015 Swimsuit magazine, has an upcoming cameo in the Entourage film adaptation, and has a new autobiography set to be published later this year.
Although Rousey enters the bout as both the betting and fan favorite, Zingano is no push-over. She's a big fighter with a wide arsenal of moves. She can go to the matt but also deliver brutal punches in quick succession. By all accounts, it's going to be a helluva match.
As an added wrinkle, Rousey and Zingano are both friends in their personal life. Rousey has gone on record praising Zingano's "heart," and has called her the most "dangerous" and "risky" opponent she's ever faced.
The two fighters met on Thursday night for the final photo op before they entered the Octagon. Check out some photos below.
