Houston Texans Rumors: J.J. Watt Buys Wilderness Training Cabin [PHOTO]

The Houston Texans will hope to contend for a playoff spot in 2015 after narrowly missing one in 2014, but they will likely need an upgrade at the quarterback position in order to do so. One thing that they can count on having is another stellar season from star defensive lineman J.J. Watt.

Although he has only been in the league for a few seasons, Watt has already established himself as the most dominant defender in the league, and he appears to be still improving as a player. One of the reasons that Watt continues to defy the already-lofty expectations surrounding him is his tireless work ethic, which he will now be able to use in his Rocky-style training cabin.

According to TMZ, Watt used part of the money from his eight-figure contract to but a cabin that sits on 35 acres of Wisconsin wilderness. Watt says that the cabin is mainly for training purposes and calls it "pretty minimalistic."

That term is used loosely, as the cabin cost nearly a million dollars, has 4,500 square feet of space, four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and an elevator.

There is a barn on the property that Watt intends to turn into a gym, which is where he will presumably improve his already impressive array of skills that he brings to the football stadium on Sundays.
