Today at 1:05 p.m. ET, the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies open up their spring training slates live from Bright House Fields in Clearwater, Fla.
New York enters on the heels of a season where it went 84-78 and finished in second place in the American East while missing the playoffs for the second straight year.
Philadelphia is coming off of a forgetful 2014 campaign that saw it finish 73-89 for its second straight sub-.500 season and third consecutive campaign without a postseason run.
The Yankees send Adam Warren to the mound and he went 3-6 last season as a reliever in 69 appearances to go along with a 2.97 ERA.
The Phillies counter with veteran right-hander Jerome Williams, who went 6-7 with a 4.77 ERA in 2014 in a campaign that saw him split time with the Houston Astros, the Texas Rangers and the Phillies.
Williams was 4-2 in Philadelphia with a 2.83 ERA through nine games last year.

Each side will be missing some noticeable stars as Alex Rodriguez, who is returning for the Yankees after sitting out the 2014 campaign due to his Biogenesis suspension, won't play while Phillies veteran second baseman Chase Utley (ankle) remains sidelined.
A player to watch for New York is Jacoby Ellsbury as he was second in the AL with 39 stolen bases last season while leading the Yankees in batting average (.271), on-base percentage (.328) and hits (156).
Philadelphia's offense was paced by Ben Revere in 2014 as he led the team in batting average (.306) and hits (184).
