Jameis Winston Draft Stock: Miami Radio Station Calls Potential Top Pick A 'Rapist'

The closer that the draft gets, the more that it appears that Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston will likely be the number one overall pick. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are high on Winston, and they seem unconcerned with the potential character issues that he may have.

Winston's previous run-ins with the law have made him a pretty easy target for jokesters in the media and on the Internet alike, and whenever he is drafted, the floodgates will surely open. But not every comment about Winston is meant in jest, and a Miami radio station recently removed all doubt about their thoughts regarding Winston.

According to Black Sports Online, 940 WINZ, which is a Miami sports radio station, retweeted a story about Winston's recent visit with Tampa Bay. One response included the now-expected jab at Winston for being a "rapist."

But the radio station took things to a new level when they blatantly agreed with the assessment.

Regardless of what people think about Winston, he was never charged with a crime after his alleged sexual assault, and it is rather shocking that any respectable station would allow such a tweet to be posted.

The tweet has since been deleted, but it was allowed to remain up for some time, indicating that the station may not have even had a problem with it until they started receiving backlash from outside sources.
