Despite WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar recently storming out at a Monday Night RAW taping, the WWE is reportedly still confident in its ability to re-sign "The Beast" to a deal.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Lesnar may owe the WWE another appearance since he didn't come out on the Feb. 23 episode of RAW due to walking out in a huff over a business disagreement with Vince McMahon, likely over his next contract.

There were rumors Lesnar may go to UFC, but it looks like he was leaning toward staying with the WWE as the two sides were negotiating a new deal due to his contract expiring shortly after WrestleMania.

Lesnar is currently advertised for next week's RAW in Pittsburgh, the go-home edition of the flagship show on March 23 in Los Angeles and the post-WrestleMania episode on March 30 in San Jose.

Lesnar could possibly appear at a makeup date on March 16 in Des Moines, Iowa, if in fact the WWE believes he owes them an appearance after he stormed out.

Though there's a lot of uncertainty, there is a feeling backstage that Lesnar and the WWE will end up working things out in order for "The Beast" to remain with the company rather than returning to UFC. Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, but he retired in 2011 after a bout with diverticulitis.

If Lesnar ends up signing with the MMA promotion again, there is some fear that the WrestleMania 31 main event with Roman Reigns could turn into the fiasco that the Lesnar vs. Goldberg contest was at WrestleMania XX in 2004.

With the crowd knowing that both men were set to depart the WWE, the fans in Madison Square Garden turned on both Superstars and booed the match mercilessly.

There is a fear that if word leaks out that Lesnar is leaving the WWE again, the crowd may turn on the match. However, if they end up cheering Reigns, it could actually solve the WWE's major problems heading into the contest.

The original plans were for Reigns to become the next top babyface by dropping Lesnar, a monster heel, but Reigns hasn't taken off as the WWE wanted him to, though his reactions are getting progressively better.

Regarding the card, the WWE has announced that Kane and Big Show will take part in the 2nd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

There is also a belief that Tyson Kidd and Cesaro will put the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against The Usos or a mixed tag team match including Natalya and Naomi will take place between the teams.

WWE WrestleMania 31 emanates live from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on March 29.
