Dez Bryant Video: Wal-Mart Never Had A Tape Of Receiver [VIDEO]

At least for now, it would appear that the online media storm surrounding the alleged existence of an incriminating video of Dez Bryant has died down. The supposed deadline for the release of the video was more than a week ago, and still nobody has produced much in the way of verifiable proof that the tape exists.

The Cowboys placed the franchise tag on Bryant on Monday, which some took as a sign that they were still concerned about the potential release of the tape, but they may be able to resume negotiations with their star receiver soon, as yet another source that was allegedly connected to the tape is denying everything.

Wal-Mart was, at one point, rumored to be the location where the incident that is "five times worse" than the Ray Rice video went down. The superstore is denying possession of any kind of video, and they are claiming that they never had one in the first place.

Last week, an old police report of an incident at a Wal-Mart was released, and Bryant was named in it. However, the whole incident seemed like little more than a heated argument, and the police never even felt the need to charge anyone or pull the security footage from the Wal-Mart in question.

More and more, it seems like Bryant and his family were right when they were claiming that the rumors over the video were nothing more than an extortion attempt against the All Pro wideout.
