Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker is living the dream. He is a top target of Peyton Manning, one of the best passers in NFL history, he just got married to one of the most popular singers in America, Jessie James, and now he's going to be featured on a reality television show with his wife on E!.
The show will be called Love and Other Contact Sports: Eric and Jessie. It will follow along the journey of Decker and James' relationship, leading all the way to their marriage which happened on Saturday. James sang the national anthem in 2011, a game in which then-Denver quarterback Tim Tebow led a furious fourth quarter comeback against the New York Jets. The two began their relationship over the phone, and got engaged in 2012, just a few days after Manning hopped on board.
James has been in the news before relating to Decker; last season the pass-catcher was on the highlight reels for an embarrassing moment in which he lost out on an easy touchdown after tripping in the open field.
A Twitter user hopped on the social media site to zing Decker and James, tweeting at the singer that "@EricDecker87 is having too much sex with @TheJessicaJames. #weaklegs." James responded by tweeting, "What do u expect? He has 3 of them."
While the tripping incident, and ensuing attention to his "third leg" may have been a bit embarrassing, Decker's performance on the field certainly wasn't. With the legendary Manning under center, Decker reeled in 85 passes for 1,064 yards and 13 touchdowns, all of which were career highs by huge margins.
