Wozniacki recently opened up in an interview with USA Today, and she stated that Williams played an integral role during her well-publicized break-up with golf superstar Rory McIlroy.
The couple dated for three years and were engaged to be married, but McIlroy shockingly dumped Wozniacki days after they had sent out their wedding invitations in the mail. To make matters worse, he did it over the phone rather than in-person. McIlroy later admitted that he "wasn't ready for all that marriage entails."
