TNA Wrestling News and Rumors: Major Backstage Concern Over Lack of Work For Wrestlers [VIDEO]

TNA signed with Destination America earlier this year to usher in a new era for its flagship show Impact Wrestling, but the bright future the company seemed to have has gone dim and has led to a lot of concern among the talent backstage.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there has been a lot of talk in TNA among the talent about a lack of work coming up and the company cutting back on its events.

The concern stems from TNA giving off a vibe that the move from Spike TV to Destination America would be a "best case scenario" for the company, but that isn't the way things have gone.

TNA officials painted the picture of things getting better once the move was made, but that has not been the case and has caused a lot of the talent to feel uneasy.

There is also some unrest when it comes to the company's current plans as live events still aren't scheduled and the only thing TNA is running right now is television tapings. Some of the major concern stems from the organization recently canceling its tapings for April and moving them back to May.

This means that TNA will essentially not be running any shows for a while and the talent will therefore not be getting paid.

Another major event that has led to a lot of anxiety is top stars leaving the company left and right, including AJ Styles, Bully Ray and most recently TNA stalwart Samoa Joe.

Seeing major stars leave and having a lack of growth in the company has led to a lot of uneasiness among the talent, who feel it could be time for TNA officials to sit down with them and tell them what's going on and what is next.

On the upside of things, TNA has issued some new contracts recently, re-inking Tyrus (WWE's Brodus Clay), Matt Hardy and Angelina Love to new deals this week, while it's also encouraging that Kurt Angle opted to stay with the company when he was a free agent a few months ago.

Things are getting uneasy in TNA, and thus far the move to Destination America hasn't been the successful major reboot and morale booster that some were promised it would be.
