Mark Sanchez is in a battle with rookie Geno Smith for the role of New York Jets starting quarterback. Now, he may be facing some controversy for a viral video that made its way to multiple sports blogs Tuesday night.
A 20-second video of Sanchez sans pants was posted on the sports gossip site TerezOwens.com in which the Jets quarterback parties with two women. Included in the video are wine bottles, smoking and Sanchez dropping his pants.
Deadspin.com also obtained footage from Sanchez's wild night. A more work-safe clip was posted to the website and can be found here:

The website also identified one of the girls from the video as Alana Kari. Kari, as the website noted, is a Southern California-based socialite who shared the videos to her social media pages.
Kari posted multiple Vines of her trip to Napa Valley, which included the Jets quarterback. The videos included limo rides, wine tasting and partying, although most of the vines posted by Kari have already been taken down.
Sanchez may be enjoying himself off-the-field, but on the field is a completely different story. For his career, the former first round draft pick has more interceptions (69) than touchdowns (68) and has a career passer rating of 71.7.
He had the worst season of his pro career last year throwing 18 interceptions and just 13 touchdowns. With Tim Tebow sitting behind him last season and now the recent drafting of Smith, Sanchez's job looks to have pressure placed upon him to outperform his competition and remain the Jets' starter.
The Jets will officially begin camp in one month.
