"The Celtic Warrior" has been sidelined since November due to surgery for an unknown ailment, but there are rumors that he will return at WrestleMania 31 in some capacity on Mar. 29 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

The WWE Superstar is expected to make a comeback as a heel and there are rumors he'll be used on the WrestleMania 31 card either in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal or the Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship.

Countdown to WrestleMania 31: 3 Best Moments From WrestleMania X-8 (18)

"The Celtic Warrior" is a three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, two-time United States Champion, a King of the Ring winner (2010) and a Royal Rumble Match winner (2012).

Sheamus, 37, was born in Dublin, Ireland and on this St. Patrick's Day 2015, we take a look back at his three best WrestleMania moments and matches.

3) Sheamus, Randy and The Big Show vs. The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose): While Sheamus' team came up on the losing end, he was involved in a solid six-man tag team match to open WrestleMania XXIX on April, 7, 2013, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The back-and-forth affair saw all six men get their shots in, but the bout ended when Orton was hit with the spear by Reigns and pinned by Ambrose. Following the match, The Big Show laid out Sheamus and Orton with a Knockout Punch.

2) Sheamus vs. Triple H: "The Celtic Warrior's" debut at the WWE's cornerstone event took place at WrestleMania XXVI on March 28, 2010, and he had a high-profile first match at the "Show of Shows" as he went toe-to-toe with "The Game." Sheamus dominated the beginning of the match, proving he could hang with the likes of Triple H and that he would be a huge threat in the WWE going forward. Things looked to be going well for the Irishman after he nailed the Brogue Kick on Triple H, however when he went for a power bomb, "The Game" reversed it into a Pedigree to win the match, which lasted over 12 minutes. Though he didn't win the bout, Sheamus put himself on the map with a great performance against a legend in Triple H.

1) Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan: While it wasn't much of a match, Sheamus' greatest WrestleMania moment occurred at WrestleMania XXVIII on April 1, 2012 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami. Sheamus went up against Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship after winning the Royal Rumble Match two months prior and the luck of the Irish was on his side. After Bryan received a kiss from storyline girlfriend AJ Lee, Sheamus hit a quick Brogue Kick and pinned Bryan in just 18 seconds to become the World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his career.

Sheamus has had many WrestleMania Moments in his career and the Irishman is hopeful to make some more this year at WrestleMania 31, if he is booked for the show.
