Deion Sanders Divorce Finalized, Gets Custody Of Kids

Deion Sanders' divorce is finally complete. Two years and what seems like countless accusations, personal insults and legal maneuvers later, Sanders took to Twitter to pronounce himself a free man with sole custody of all of his children.

“Thank God, Thank God,” Sanders tweeted. “This 2 year drama-filled divorce is over. Prenup stood, custody of all kids. Pay yo own fees! God is faithful! Truth.”

According to TMZ, over the course of the proceedings Sanders kicked his wife out of their mansion, leading her to seek out legal representation and aggressively move to take as much of his estimated $250 million dollar fortune as possible.

Just months ago, TMZ reported Pilar Sanders was being sued by Capital One Bank for nonpayment of $6,000 credit card bill. In what Sanders insisted was merely a smear campaign, Pilar Sanders also later alleged her NFL Hall of Fame husband was an addicted steroids abuser.  

“I got up and walked out of the courtroom, and I think my response was “Oh my God,’” Sanders told TMZ back then. “I wasn’t upset by any means, but just dumbfounded, just shocked, that I think I could take my shirt off and you could Google her pictures and make a designation of who’s doing what. It’s a smokescreen. Let’s take the focus off the parenting and put it on something as idiotic as this.”
