Calvin Johnson is taking after his quarterback, Matthew Stafford.
Just a few weeks before Matthew Stafford walks down the aisle with girlfriend Kelly Hall, the Detroit Lions receiver popularly known as Megatorn has announced his engagement to girlfriend Brittney McNorton.
Johnson reportedly popped the question along the Baltimore Inner Harbor, while he and McNorton were vacationing in the city.
"The situation was just right, just happened to be right, we were on vacation, so why not?" Johnson said of the moment, via the Detroit Free-Press.
Calvin Johnson had his fith straight 1,000 yard season in 2014, catching 71 passes for 1,077 yards and 8 touchdowns. The 29-year-old is a five time career Pro Bowler and is the Lions' all-time leading receiver with 643 catches for 10,405 yards. Johnson and McNorton were in Baltimore to attend the Ed Block Courage Awards presentation.
