Brooke Hogan, the daughter of wrestling luminary and reality television star Hulk Hogan, got engaged this weekend to Dallas Cowboys center Phil Costa in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to reports and social media. He proposed with the visage of Paris' Eiffel Tower in the background, to a shocked Hogan.
Brooke posted a photo of the proposal on Instagram, and accompanied it with "Happiest moment of my LIFE. I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn't choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful." On another photo with Costa putting the engagement ring on her finger, Brooke captioned, "I look scary but this is the face of total SHOCK."
Brooke Hogan was introduced to the masses on VH1's Hogan Knows Best reality show, starring Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea. The show ran from 2005 to 2007; after Hogan Knows Best ran its course, Brooke was granted a spin-off show also televised by VH1 called Brooke Knows Best from 2008 to 2009. Currently, she works for TNA Wrestling, the top competitor to World Wrestling Entertainment, where her father starred for decades.
Costa is entering his fourth season as a center for the Dallas Cowboys, after making the team as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Costa started 16 games for the Cowboys after Pro Bowl center Andre Gurode was cut from the team after contract negotiations broke down. He started three games last season, and is expected to battle with rookie Travis Frederick, one of the biggest surprise picks in the 2013 NFL Draft.
