Russell Wilson was photographed having a night on the town with Samantha Hoopes last week, leading many to speculate that the Super Bowl winning quarterback was dating the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.

However, despite that initial reaction, it seems the gossip was unfounded. A source close to the two individuals told TMZ Sports on Friday that the two are not dating -- they're just friends who "really enjoy hanging out with each other."
Hoopes isn't the first famous face to be linked to Wilson this off-season. In February the Seahawks star was also said to be dating another supermodel, Instagram star Melody Rae Kandil.
