Michael Jordan May Need an Assist From Alex Rodriguez's Real Estate Agent in Selling His Mansion in Chicago

Michael Jordan needs to get in contact with Alex Rodriguez's real estate agent.

Jordan, the former Chicago Bulls superstar and current owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, is trying to sell his home in the Chicago suburbs, a nine-bedroom, 15-bathroom mansion, USA Today is reporting, and the asking price is $21 million.

That is an $8 million discount from Jordan's original asking price of $29 million when the home originally went on the market in February, 2012, according to USA Today.

The house is listed, with 18 photos of the property, on Realtor.com. The mansion is 32,683 square feet and includes an indoor basketball complex, a three-bedroom guest house, a putting green, a wet bar and a dry bar, and "a pool with a sculpture design that looks like a Washington D.C. monument," USA Today reports.

The home includes three garages that holds 15 cars and are each climate-controlled.

The Chicago Tribune published a story on the home when it first went on the market, saying that property taxes were $165,224 in 2010. The information was made available by public records.

Jordan so far has not been as successful as his fellow megastar athlete Alex Rodriguez. The New York Yankees third baseman sold his 19,861 square foot mansion for $30 million in May. Rodriguez bought the house in 2010 for $7.4 million and put $7.6 million worth of renovations.

Rodriguez's house, however, also sold for $8 million fewer than his original asking price, but he still made a $15 million profit, according to several media reports.

Jordan shared the home with his former wife, Juanita, and their three children. The couple divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The USA Today reported added that the indoor basketball court included "cushioned hardwood flooring and competition-quality high intensity lighting."

Don't feel bad for Jordan if he still can't sell the property. The Chicago Tribune added that Jordan had bought a home in Jupiter, Fla., for $12 million in 2010 and is remarried, tying the knot with Yvette Prieto in April of this year.
