KENTUCKY vs NOTRE DAME Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Elite 8, Live Coverage of March Madness

Tonight at 8:49 p.m. ET on TBS college basketball's boogeymen, the Kentucky Wildcats, will try to advance to the Final Four when they take on the No. 3 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish in an Elite 8 matchup that can be live streamed here free. Kentucky fans can listen to the radio broadcast on WKYM 101.7, while Fighting Irish fans may do likewise on 89 WLS.

The West Virginia Mountaineers were awfully chatty ahead of their Sweet 16 game vs. the Wildcats and wound up being dropped by 39 points. Notre Dame isn't talking trash, but head coach Mike Brey is enjoying the underdog status not normally afforded to teams that win the ACC Tournament.

"We are America's team tomorrow," Brey said. "And we love it, we certainly will take all that support. We've got a monumental challenge on our hands."

West Virginia had hoped to frustrate Kentucky with a constantly pressing defense; that wasn't effective, but the Irish are thinking their sweet shooting might be able to take down the tournament's top seed.

"We have a lot of confidence," guard Jerian Grant said. "We feel they haven't played an offensive team like us. Just go out there and play our game I think we'll be able to get a win."

Notre Dame was red hot from behind the 3-point line against Wichita State, hitting 47 percent on 19 attempts, and hit 55 percent overall from the field.

A problem for Notre Dame is that Kentucky head coach John Calipari has kept his Wildcats grounded and not believing all their own hype. It has kept them prepared night in and night out.

"My team knows that every team that's left playing can beat us, we know that," Calipari said. "Somebody talked about perfection. We're not perfect; we're undefeated. I mean, we should have lost five or six games. We easily could have lost those games. And we were lucky enough to win.

"Well, this is the same kind of game, you can't help Notre Dame. If you do, you're going to lose because they're that good."
