Adrian Peterson may have been the subject of more rumors than every other player in the NFL combined this offseason thanks to his still-uncertain future with the Minnesota Vikings. Signs now point to Peterson staying put, but even that may not be for sure.
Adrian Peterson To Dallas Not Dead Despite Vikings' Insistence
Peterson reportedly wants out of Minnesota, but the team refuses to release him from his contract. That would leave a trade as the only realistic way to exit town, but there do not appear to be any teams willing to pay Minnesota's asking price. It seems ridiculous that they would be willing to keep a player that wants out, but teams do strange things in desperate times.
For his part, Peterson seems to be trying to stay above the noise about his future by avoiding the team and discussions. He threw himself an Arabian-themed birthday bash recently, and he apparently enjoys a good hunt also.

Peterson recently ventured out into the wild and enjoyed a hunting trip that saw him catch a boar that looks to be of a pretty good size.

I suppose that if your employer will not grant your wishes, then it does a person good to get away from it all and blow off some steam.
