Sting Wrestler WWE Rumors: 'Vigilante's' Legacy Ruined By Loss To Triple H? His Manager Responds To Fans [VIDEO]

Sting's long awaited WWE debut ended in a loss to Triple H at WrestleMania 31 this past Sunday and it has led to some fans questioning whether or not his legacy is ruined.

Backstage Rumors on Ronda Rousey Working With WWE Again

After years of negotiations and close-calls, Sting finally signed on with the WWE late last year and after a few sporadic appearances, he made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 31 last Sunday night at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

"The Vigilante" fell to "The Game" in a historic match that saw run-ins from D-Generation X (Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-Pac and eventually Shawn Michaels) and the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall).

Many have questioned the decision to have the former WCW and TNA icon job out in his in-ring WWE debut and one fan posed the question to his manager, Steve Martinez, on Twitter asking whether or not he lost his legacy with the defeat from Triple H:

Sting's future in the WWE is up in the air, but he said after RAW on the WWE Network that he would take another opportunity to compete if it was afforded to him.

"I don't know," Sting said when Renee Young asked him about his future in the WWE. "I don't know what the future holds, but I do know this...I don't know. I don't know what the future holds, I really don't know. I don't know what opportunities the WWE might throw my way, but whatever they do throw my way, I'm gonna reach out and I'm gonna grab it. And if they don't throw anything my way, well that's just too bad. It's a crying shame as far as I'm concerned."

There are rumors that Sting may face The Undertaker next year at WrestleMania 32 in their home state of Texas at AT&T Stadium on April 3, 2016, but nothing is set in stone.

Sting, 56, is a six-time WCW Heavyweight Champion and four-time TNA Heavyweight Champion so while the booking of his first WWE match was questionable, it's hard to say his legacy is tarnished.
