Denver Broncos Rumors: Peyton Manning Still Inspires Super Bowl Confidence [AUDIO]

The Denver Broncos did not make many headlines this offseason for signing players. Instead, they mostly saw talent leave for other opportunities. However, they did manage to convince future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning to return, and he even took a discount to do so.

While the Broncos got Manning back, they still have to break in a new coaching staff and learn a new system. They maintained plenty of talent on each side of the ball though, and star linebacker Von Miller says that Manning's return should have people considering Denver a title favorite.

"We can win a Super Bowl with Peyton," Miller said. "I think that's the only thing that matters. To win a Super Bowl we need Peyton Manning and I think that he's going to be able to play at a high level. It's Peyton Manning. Whatever it is he needs to do, he's going to do it. That's one position that I'm just not worried about."

The team does boast a wealth of talent and - with Manning in the fold - arguably the greatest quarterback of all time. But that has not proven to be enough over the past few seasons, as Denver has repeatedly come up short despite high expectations.

Still, Manning thinks that he can play at a high level, and the other players on the team clearly have confidence in him. Maybe this will prove to be the year that the Broncos silence the critics.
