First the Buffalo Bills new running back intimated that he was shipped out of Philly because Eagles head coach Chip Kelly’s ego was too big to accommodate stars.
Afterwards, McCoy walked back those statements slightly before telling reporters that he was “done” talking about his former team anymore. On Friday, however, another salacious rumor emerged regarding the two sides.

According to USA Today’s The Big Lead sports blog, NFL Films may have footage of McCoy threatening to hit Kelly on the sidelines during the team’s regular season finale versus the New York Giants.
Though no altercation is known to have transpired, and any footage of the threat—if it even exists—has yet to surface, if true it would go a long way toward explaining why the two individuals who once seemed very close quickly found their professional relationship to be untenable.
