This game has plenty of playoff implications, but the Bruins come in looking for some help because if the Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the last place Buffalo Sabres and the Ottawa Senators get a point against the Philadelphia Flyers, Boston's seven-year playoff streak comes to an end.
The Lightning also need a little bit of help because if the team tops the Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens fall to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Tampa Bay clinches the Atlantic Division and home-ice in the first round of the playoffs.
Boston has taken two of the three meetings in the season series, but Tampa Bay notched a 5-3 victory in their last head-to-head meeting on March 22.

The Lightning have won two straight games and have been paced by Steven Stamkos (43 goals, 29 assists) and Tyler Johnson (29 tallies, 43 helpers), who each have a team-best 72 points this season.
Tampa Bay's probable starting goalie is Ben Bishop and he is 39-13-5 with a 2.33 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage.
Boston will likely counter with Tuukka Rask and he is 34-21-12 with a 2.31 GAA and a .922 save percentage. If Rask starts, he'll tie a franchise record with his 70th appearance in the crease in the regular season.
