The 21-year-old golf phenom was devastated when he let a chance at winning his first Masters slip away late on the back-nine that Sunday. He swore he would come back and finish what he started, and he proceeded to do just that.
Spieth finished the tournament with a -18, tied with a young Tiger Woods for the best performance in Masters history. He didn't just win the green jacket — he seized it from the opening round onward and didn't relinquish it.
After his career-defining victory, Spieth grabbed a smooch with his college sweetheart, Texas Tech undergrad Annie Verret. Check out some photos of the happy couple up above.
