Meet the UFC's next big thing, and she's only 21-years-old. Here name's Paige VanZant, and she's primed to take over the mixed martial arts scene.
UFC Star Claims He Could Kill Floyd Mayweather
First she proved that she's not just all hype, easily defeating Felice Herrig at UFC on Fox 15 over the weekend.
Her performance, and the way in which she's burst onto the scene practically out of nowhere, has UFC fans comparing her to previous sensations like Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor.
UFC president Dana White agrees.
"It's almost like the Conor McGregor thing," he said, via MMA Fighting. "The guy bursts out of nowhere, explodes onto the scene and backs it up. And Paige VanZant did tonight, too. She looked unbelievable. And she is.

With the win over the weekend, VanZant will probably catapult herself into the top ten of the women's strawweight division. Should she keep up the excellent fighting to match her star persona, we may be seeing her in a title bout before long.
