More news came out today about Los Angeles Kings star Jarrett Stoll, and it really just makes you wonder about the kind of decisions that professional athletes make sometimes. People always say that superstars tend to think that they are above the law, and in Stoll's case, that may have been the case.

Stoll was arrested in Las Vegas over the weekend when he was caught at a pool party with Cocaine and a drug that was believed to be ecstasy (it turned out to be Molly, which is another form of MDMA). More details about the arrest have since emerged, and you have to hope that Stoll puts more thought into his relationship with Erin Andrews than he did into going to that party.
According to TMZ, Stoll was caught with the drugs because he was trying to smuggle them into the party in his board shorts, which already raises enough questions. However, to make matters worse, there were signs all around that clearly indicated that party guests were going to be subjected to pat-downs prior to their entry.

Stoll could have ditched the drugs when he saw the signs, but he opted to take his chances, and not surprisingly, he got caught. The security guard found a pink baggie with white powder in it and several gelcaps.
According to the police report, Stoll was asked if the white powder was cocaine, to which he replied, "Yes."
All told, Stoll was in possession of 3.3 grams of coke and 8.1 grams of Molly.
He was taken into custody and released on $5,000 bond. There is no word on what charges Stoll will eventually face as a result of the arrest.
