Tim Tebow To Eagles Reactions: "Good Luck With The Virgin" Says One Celeb [VIDEO]

The Philadelphia Eagles have made another huge move in their quest to be the subject of every single headline this offseason by signing former Heisman Trophy winner and colossal NFL flameout Tim Tebow. Reactions to the signing have been all over the place, but many seem to agree that this move is strange at best.

Tebow had one "successful" NFL season in Denver, when he led the Broncos to the playoffs and an upset victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. But even including that season, he has never shown the ability to be anything other than a far below-average quarterback, and it is unclear that he can be anything more in Kelly's system.

Some celebrities have joined in the discussion surrounding the move, and while some have thoughtful opinions, others, like comedian Artie Lange, are just excited to be able to poke fun at the move. According to TMZ, Lange recently took the time to wish the Eagles "good luck with the virgin" and added, "I don't think Tim Tebow can help you on any level."

Tebow did run the option some in college and the NFL, but he ran a slower-paced option and had to do little or no work at the line of scrimmage. He is a below-average downfield thrower, and he does not fit the mold of other successful running quarterbacks in Kelly's offense, who are normally more of the Michael Vick or Marcus Mariota-type speedsters.

And all of that is to say nothing of the fact that Kelly already traded for Sam Bradford and re-signed Mark Sanchez this offseason while also doing little to quell rumors that the team might draft Mariota. There are currently five quarterbacks on the Eagles' depth chart, and it now seems fair to wonder aloud what Kelly is thinking.
