Randall Cunningham Daughter: Former Eagles QB's Daughter Breaks High School Record For Long Jump [TWEET]

In his 16 seasons with the Eagles, Vikings, Cowboys, and Ravens, Randall Cunningham set the standard for what was possible from an athletic quarterback. He was a trailblazer at the position, paving the way for other athletic, out-of-pocket quarterbacks like Michael Vick, Colin Kaepernick, and many others to thrive.

It’s not particularly surprising, but this week we have confirmation that Cunningham’s athleticism runs in the family. His daughter, Vasti, cleared 6-foot-4 1/4 at the Mt. Sac Invitational over the weekend to begin the best high school long jumper country.

Vasti’s win was her second-straight national title. She previously won her junior year as well, though that one was not a record-breaker.
"This is the day," Vashti told RunnerSpace.com. "I felt it since I was warming up. I just knew I've been doing all the work I need to do to get it, so I had no doubt in my mind."

Vasti’s brother, Randall Cunningham, Jr., is also a track and field star at the University of Southern California. No doubt Papa Cunningham is extremely proud of both of them.
