A Victoria Milan survey of 3,225 women who describe themselves as “female cheaters” finds Tiger Woods the “sexiest golfer alive.”
Billing itself as a “world-renowned expert in what married, attached women are looking for when it comes to committing to an affair,” the site also concludes Woods rates as the most desirable among his peers among respondents when it comes to “to getting back at a cheating boyfriend, igniting that flame missing from their marriage or just having an adulterous” rendezvous.
Overall, Woods garnered 27 percent of the vote, narrowly besting 2013 Masters champ Adam Scott, who finished at 25 percent. The only other golfers to earn at least 10 percent of the vote were Sergio Garcia at 14 percent and Luke Donald at 11.
In a release, survey organizers stated: “Tiger as the number one choice of female voters certainly earns his rank based on his history of high-profile infidelity. His divorce from Elin Nordegren got attention worldwide and is notorious as one of the most expensive break-ups the world has ever seen.”
Woods and Nordegren parted ways in 2009 after a sex scandal involving as many as 15 women he’s alleged to have had an affair with leaked to the public. He currently is romantically linked to Olympic skiing champ Lindsey Vonn, and the two were seen walking the Muirfield golf course earlier this week in preparation for the start of the British Open.
“It makes perfect sense that golf captures the senses of cheaters,” said Victoria Milan founder and CEO Sigurd Vedal. “The quiet tension builds hole by hole until it's broken by wild applause, and the 19th hole parties are legendary. And, of course, the sport itself represents luxury and opulence. Our members are definitely going to be found in the British Open crowd.”
