Sad news out of the world of celebrity and sports gossip, as the marriage between actress Kerry Washington and former Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha appears to be on the rocks.

The couple married in June 2013, and gave birth to their first baby daughter about a year later. However, things seem to be deteriorating between the two, and Black Sports Online reports that Nnamdi seems to be the one causing the acrimony.
"The root of the problem is that Nnamdi feels threatened by Kerry’s success," a source reveals. “Nnamdi’s bitter because he feels he should be the breadwinner." The source also added that the two have entered couple's therapy.

It's a shame to let something petty like that compromise a whole marriage. It's not like Asomugha is some scrub off the sidewalk. He was the best cornerback in football (depending on how you feel about Darrelle Revis) for a number of years. His career may be over now, but that's life in football.
