On Monday, Bad News Barrett beat Dolph Ziggler to advance after a distraction from Sheamus, R-Truth defeated Stardust, Sheamus dropped Dean Ambrose by DQ after "The Showoff" got some revenge and Neville overcame Luke Harper.

This sets up a semifinals that consists of Barrett vs. R-Truth and Sheamus vs. Neville with the winners of each matchup getting set to face each other at the end of the show.

WWE King of the Ring 2015 Predictions and Preview

The King of the Ring has been an on-again off-again production by the WWE since its inception in 1985 when Don Muraco won the initial tournament.

The event even had its own pay-per-view from 1993-2002 before the WWE stopped producing it. The quest to the throne has made sporadic appearances since then, being resurrected in 2006, 2008, 2010 and now again in 2015.

Hall of Famers such as Bret Hart, Steve Austin and Edge have won the honor.

Three of the four Superstars competing in the semifinals spoke to Renee Young on WWE Fallout about possibly winning the first tournament since 2010.

"Here's the deal, I'm the only man capable of winning this tournament," Barrett said, "because I am the only man with the class and the excellence to do so. I will be the ruler, I will be the bloody king."

R-Truth delivered a bizarre promo and said he was ready to go.

"I feel good," R-Truth sang. "I knew that I would now. See, that's the remix. You know what? I'm on my way to the top of the mountain. Okay, well I don't want to go to the top of the mountain because I've got a problem with heights, but I'm on my way to King of the Ring. That's royalty, almost like coming to America, but, I'm already in America so it'll be like coming to RAW. Royalty is about to be served. We're gonna get rid of all the spiders, all the spiders. Because spiders ain't good, you know what I'm sayin? We're not makin' no spider soup, but I'm about to be King of the Ring. I'm going for it. You know why? Because I feel good, I knew that I would now."

Neville was excited to get past Harper and move onto the next round.

"[I'm] over the moon," Neville said. "It's unbelievable. I feel like I've really got momentum on my side. I feel great, I feel like I'm doing my thing out there. And I couldn't be any happier, but onto the next round onward and upward. That's my concern, that's my focus. So I'll see you all in the next round."

Sheamus, who won the 2010 King of the Ring tournament, didn't give any comments.

Four WWE Superstars will vow to become the 2015 King of the Ring Tuesday night in Illinois.
