English soccer star David Beckham made a splash on Saturday by joining the popular photo-sharing site Instagram for the first time.
"Good morning and hello!" Beckham wrote in his first post. "It’s great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can’t wait to start sharing all my special moments with you."

Saturday was also Beckhams' 40th birthday, and he celebrated it in fantastic fashion. Beckham is, of course, married to Victoria Beckham, the "Posh" Spice of the eponymous Spice Girls. The former mega-successful pop group reunited for the occasion. A mob of '90s nostalgia junkies freaks out accordingly. Scary, Sporty, Ginger, Baby, and Posh ... the gang's all here. Oh, and Eva Longoria, too.
