The world is full of second, third and even fourth chances, but Jon Jones may not want them.

According to Sporting News, the agent for the deposed UFC light heavyweight champion said he is debating whether he wants to retire from the sport after his felony arrest on a hit-and-run charge.

Jones' agent, Malki Kawa, told the MMA Hour on Monday that the former champion may not return to the octagon.

"It could very well be the last time we've seen Jon Jones in the Octagon," Kawa told host Ariel Helwani, Sporting News reported. "I think Jon Jones is gonna focus on Jon Jones. I think he's gonna take the time to do whatever he's gotta do. And if it's the last time we've seen him fight, it's the last time we've seen him fight. And I'm OK with that."

Jones turned himself in days after being accused of leaving the scene of a three-car accident on April 26 in Albuquerque, N.M. He had been scheduled to fight Anthony Johnson in the UFC 187 title fight on May 23 before the MMA stripped him of his crown.

The Sporting News listed the recent transgressions that Jones committed. He had a DUI in 2012 in Binghamton, N.Y., he engaged in a news conference brawl with Daniel Cormier last year and he entered a drug-treatment facility for one day after testing positive for cocaine before defeating Cormier to retain his light heavyweight championship in January.

"If he doesn't come back to the sport, it's because he doesn't want to come back to the sport," Kawa said, according to Sporting News. "If it was because of too much pressure? Could be. If it's because of the belt? Could be. If it's because the competition is too much, it could be. Whatever he decides is the reason why he won't come back to the sport, but it'll be solely on him. I'm not gonna blame anything or anyone for anything Jon Jones does. And no one, at the same token, can take credit for anything Jon Jones does. Everything that's Jon Jones' is Jon Jones'. The good, the bad and the ugly."
