The WWE has teased a split between the Ravishing Russian and the Bulgarian Brute over the last couple of months and it appears as though that breakup may be coming soon.
According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there is a lot of speculation within the WWE that Lana will quit for Rusev during his I Quit Match against John Cena for the United States Championship at Payback on Sunday, May 17 at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md.

Lana quitting for the Super Athlete will likely lead to the final nail in the coffin for the duo, leading to Lana's face turn and her breakout in the WWE.
The WWE has been working toward a rift between the two since WrestleMania 31 when her distraction caused Rusev to lose his focus and he was pinned by Cena to lose the United States Championship.
It was furthered at Extreme Rules last month when Rusev sent Lana to the backstage area for acknowledging the adulation of the fans at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
Cena and Rusev will lockup for the fourth straight pay-per-view and WWE Network special as not only did they clash at WrestleMania and Extreme Rules, but the mighty Russian topped the Cenation leader at Fastlane in February.
There have been reports that Vince McMahon is very high on Lana, who was really born in Florida and bought a house with Rusev, who she dates in real life, in Nashville recently. There are rumors that part of Lana's split from Rusev will be the revelation that she isn't really Russian.
Part of that face turn will likely also have her wrestle under her real name, which is C.J. Perry.
Lana also wrestled some non-televised matches recently which likely means the WWE has big plans for her after the split.
The WWE could use an influx of babyface Divas as AJ Lee recently retired and Paige is on hiatus to film the WWE Studios movie Santa's Littler Helper with The Miz.
Naomi also just turned heel, which caused the WWE to utilize The Bella Twins as faces despite all the heel momentum they've build up over the last few months.
There are rumors that Charlotte and other stars from NXT may make their main roster debuts soon while Lana could be added to the fray as a new babyface.
What this means for Rusev remains to be seen as if the plans come to fruition, it will mark the third straight time he lost to Cena in a big-match situation.
It appears the long-rumored split of Rusev and Lana is about to happen.
