Pakistan did a great deal to salvage their pride on Wednesday. After losing three straight ODIs and a T20I in short succession, they came out of the gate firing on all cylinders in this week's Test series. They rode Younis Khan and Azhar Ali to a combined 250 for the third wicket, and finished the day with 323 for 3.
They'll have opportunities to add to that lead today, so the Bangladesh squad may be looking at a first inning deficit of 500 or more. They haven't picked up a bat yet and already victory looks very far from sight. A draw may be the best they can hope for.
