Reports indicate that the following was taped Tuesday night in Ottawa for the edition of SmackDown that is set to air this Thursday as the WWE continues the countdown to Payback.
Bad News Barrett Praises Neville, 'Gonna Be A Star'
In the final segment, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns came out to sign the contract for their Fatal 4 Way match at Payback on May 17 at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore.
Rollins initially refused to come out, and told Kane to sign the deal for him, but he eventually entered the arena after all three other Superstars signed on the dotted line. The show ended in a brawl with "The Architect" standing tall.
Backstage Update On Rusev & Lana Split
The episode kicked off with King of the Ring winner Bad News Barrett bullying Jerry "The King" Lawler during an interview. Dolph Ziggler then came out and the two had a match.
The bout was interrupted by Sheamus and then Neville and it turned into a tag team match, which saw the babyface team of Neville and Ziggler defeat Barrett and Sheamus.
In another segment, Lana came out the cheers and Rusev followed and got angry. He then said he will hunt down WWE United States Champion John Cena on RAW and make him pay.
In other action, The Lucha Dragons defeated Los Matadores and Luke Harper defeated Fandango. After the latter match, Erick Rowan came out and attacked Fandango as Harper looked on.
In six-man tag action, The New Day defeated Ryback, Cesaro & Tyson Kidd. The match ended after Bray Wyatt made the lights go out and provided a distraction for all six men.
In Divas action, Naomi defeated Emma and her and Tamina then beat her up after the bout.
This episode of SmackDown continued the buildup to Payback.
